He means that you schould walk away after having reached a highlight. Normally this would happen

@Murphy, I think the point is to walk away _before_ the conversation stalls out. By leaving the interaction before it becomes stale, you show that you’re non-needy. Hovering around a woman you just met all night is unattractive.

Lots of guys walk away when they stale out of conversation or get scared. Its not neccessarily an alpha thing to do.
