The New Attraction Switch

The Mystery Method has three main attraction switches we teach.
- Protector of loved ones
- Leader of men
- Pre-selected by women
But there is a fourth attraction switch which in most cases overrides all the other switches. Mystery intuitively knows about this, but he never really addressed it as an attraction switch. He refers to it as ‘celeb game’. It’s the same reason he put so much effort into becoming famous.
What I’m talking about is social status.
Let’s take an example. A guy who has the ability to protect a woman will not be as attractive to most women as a guy that offers her high social status just for being aligned with him.
Men base their success on accomplishments. Women base their successes on their relationships. The better the guy she’s with, the more successful she is. How is that rated?
Social Status
Without social status, 5 years from now you’re that random guy she slept with one night at a bar. With social status you’re one of those incredible moments she had in her life that she can brag about.
Although being famous is the ultimate form of social status, I’m not talking about being famous.
Social status is the ultimate form of frame control. Whether or not people accept it, there’s always that thing in the back of people’s mind when they’re dealing with a person of higher status that tells them ‘this person is better than you’. Whether they are or not, it’s a frame that’s already working in the advantage of the person with social status.
Super-hot girls are more drawn to social status than others. In my experience, since they have so many options, they mostly will actually pay attention to people with status. If you don’t have status then you are seriously stacking the odds against you. This is why the barrier of going from 8s to 10s is one of the hardest to cross if you’re trying to ‘do pickup’ on 10s.
If on the other hand, you build status, getting 10s becomes like picking up 6s, it’s easy as shit. That’s why nobody’s goal should really be to become ‘the world’s best pua’. In my book it’s too inconsistent and a you’ll wind up with less quality and more quantity.
Any well known guitarist can date hotter girls than the guy with the best ‘game’.
Build status first, like a well-known local DJ for example, and then picking up high quality girls becomes a thing you have access to consistently, since that’s something 10s really feel attracted to. Social status is the new major attraction switch.

This is definitively true, though I usually teach that “leader of men” encompasses social status.

I’d say it’s the same for guys in some ways. It would be call to brag to your friends if you were going out with Hilary Duff for instance. I’m not sure how much of this is attraction instead of personal preference to date someone with ’snob value’ to show off!
